Our copper and aluminum product lines and completed installations are
inspected and approved by Underwriters Laboratories for Master Label
service as specified and comply in all respects with the requirements of
the National Fire Protection Association. Further, Thompson
Lightning Protection, as a founding member of the Lightning Protection
Institute is committed to the promotion, supply and installation of only
the highest quality lightning protection systems. It is our belief
that this type of system and these goals are best accomplished by using
the LPI Certified System program. The design and installation
criteria under this program are based on the LPI Standard 175. The
key benefits of this program is that it provides for inspection at all
critical stages of the installation, and the Owner is entitled to the
benefits of an optional, yearly inspection of the lightning protection
system. This program is administered by the LPI through its member
manufacturers and certified installers. We recommend the LPI
Certified System be established as the installation criteria for all
lightning protection systems. |
